Kratika Sengar is an Indian television actress. She played Rani Lakshmibai in Jhansi Ki Rani,Aarti in popular show Punar Vivah on Zee TV popular show and Tanu in Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki on Colors.

Kratika Sengar was born on July 3, 1986 and is from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.She did schooling in Methodist High School, Kanpur then moved to Delhi and graduated in Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida. Then she moved to Mumbai for her further career. Before entering into acting she worked in an ad agency in Mumbai and for Hungama TV.Kratika married Nikitin Dheer in September 2014

Kratika Sengar started her acting career in 2007 with a small role in the popular long-running drama series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi playing the role of Saanchi in starplus. She gained recognition in the television industry as Prerna Nihal Garewal opposite Naman Shaw in Kasautii Zindagii Kay from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, she then bagged another Balaji Telefilms show Kya Dill Mein Hai playing the main negative lead as Naina in 2008. “Read My Silence” is the short film in which she played a lead role of Arsala Fatima. In 2009 Segar got a major break by lead role with Zee TV’s popular show of Lakshmibai in the show “Ek Veer Stree ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani”.She was awarded Women Achievers awards for the role of Lakshmibai.The show aired its last in June 2011. In 2010 she also appeared in an episodic appearance in Aahat. Later, she did a small guest appearance in the Sony TV’s comedy show Bura Na Mano Holi Hai. She also appeared in reality show Lux Kaun Jeetega Bollywood ka Ticket.In 2012, Kratika made her comeback to television with Zee TV’s popular show Punar Vivah opposite Gurmeet Choudhary and portrayed Aarti Yash Scindia.The show aired its last on 17 May 2013. In January 2014, she made a special appearance in Star Plus’ popular show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera. she entered Life OK’s popular show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev played as Manasa. In 2015, Kratika played Zee TV’s next Service Wali Bahu as the lead role of Payal. currently Kratika made her comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki opposite Sharad Malhotra on Colors Tv.

She won the Zee Rishtey Awards in 2010 for Favourite Beti in Jhansi Ki Rani & Madhavrao Scindia Leadership Award for Best Television Actress.

In 2012 5th Boroplus Gold Awards for Best Celebrity Jodi (along with Gurmeet Chaudhary) & Zee Rishtey Awards,Indian Television Academy Awards and BIG Star Entertainment Awards Most Entertaining Television Actor – Female.
In 2013 she won Women Achievers Award for Aaadhi Abadi Award.
